I am interested in politics, software, science and art. I work as a systems administrator and I like discussing the politics of Libre / Free Software. I watch a lot of movies, TV shows and anime. I think everyone should watch at least one anime series in their lives if only to appreciate the quality of filmmaking and creativity that anime has to offer. Many anime series (and sci-fi TV shows like Star Trek) also allow for nuanced political discussions about the parallels one can draw between the make-believe worlds of anime and dreal-world society.
I also like reading books, although I am slowly recovering my reading habit after having lost my attention to social media. The last book I completed reading is Rendezvous with Rama by Arthur C. Clarke.
I am currently learning how to write policies using Rego in order to make OPA (OpenPolicyAgent) be useful for my work. I also like learning languages and have been picking up phrases in different languages here and there. Recently, I decided to learn a language methodically and began taking German classes.
